Teaching Plan: Care of RACF Residents

This teaching plan focuses on the critical role of GPs in providing medical care to residents of residential aged care facilities (RACF), where care differs significantly from that in general practice. Given the complexity of managing clinical syndromes, multimorbidity, palliative care, and medicolegal issues, GP registrars may find working in RACFs challenging without specific education and training.
