The GPSA community is as diverse and exciting as the medical specialty it is responsible for perpetuating.
The medical professionals and administrators who make up almost 10,000 GPSA members are all involved in, or aspiring to contribute to, the supervision of tomorrow’s GPs and RGs. This supervising community is spread across Australia, both in the traditional general practice setting and, more frequently now, outside the community clinic in contexts including public hospitals, state healthcare clinics, ACCHOs, AMSs, RFDS and the ADF, among others.
GPSA not only supports this community – GPSA is this community.
By uniting as a community of practice, this community has the potential to create unprecedented change – drawing strength from connection to each other and developing a unified voice transcending geographical fragmentation.
By contributing your voice to GPSA’s regular discussions with Commonwealth and sector stakeholders, by lending your insights and expertise to our research-backed policy statements and best practice educational resources, you can make a real difference.
As a GPSA member, you are part of a unique community supported by a dedicated team. Our work focuses on four key pillars:
Our goal is to unite and empower our members, fostering a quality teaching and learning culture across the educational spectrum. We ensure effective communication channels to keep our work aligned with your needs and priorities.
