Types of GPSA Membership
Regular Members
Regular Members include everyone who engages with GPSA and supports our mission to strengthen general practice supervision and training.
This broad membership network includes supervisors, practice managers, educators, training organisations and others with an interest in supporting the next generation of GPs.
Ordinary Members
Under the GPSA Constitution, Ordinary Members are supervisors and practice managers working in practices committed to the supervision of medical students, prevocational doctors and/or GPs in training.
Ordinary Members play an active role in general practice training and are entitled to participate in the governance of GPSA, including voting at Annual General Meetings and on matters requiring member approval under the Constitution.
Honorary Members
Honorary Members are individuals who are, have been, or wish to be involved in GP training and who support the objects of GPSA.
This category recognises the valuable contribution of current and former members of the supervision community and ensures they remain connected to GPSA and its activities.
Corporate Members
Corporate Members are organisations that support the objects of GPSA and share our commitment to excellence in general practice supervision and training.
Corporate membership enables organisations to engage with and support the broader supervision community while contributing to the advancement of general practice education.
GPSA Community Members
GPSA Community Members are GPSA members of any class who choose to join the GPSA Community, our online community of practice.
