How to nominate as a GPSA Director

START WITH THE NUTS AND BOLTS

A) Read the Director Position Description

B) Complete the below electronic form, which includes:

Agreement to Nominate
- ensure you have your Director ID at hand – if you don’t have one already, please enter “TBC” in the relevant field to indicate you will pursue this in the legally required timeframe should your nomination be successful
- fill in the details requested in the Agreement to Nomination for Election as Responsible Entity of GPTA
GPTA Ltd Director Nominee Declaration
- click in the checkbox against each declaration item
- enter the details for any interests such as paid College or WPP roles
- if the interests section does not provide sufficent room for your purposes, please email Carla with any additional interests to be noted
- sign and date the Declaration as indicated
Nomination Form
- recruit 2 other members of GPSA to act as Proposer and Seconder for your nomination
- while you are welcome to download the linked form, complete it and have it signed before scanning it and emailing it back to us (relevant details provided in the below form under Step 3 – Options B and C), the easiest thing to do is provide the name and email address for your proposer and seconder in the electronic form so we can send the nomination form to them to e-sign and return: all electronically. Just make sure you give them a heads-up to expect an email from Carla!

THEN COMES THE FUN STUFF!

C) Email Maryse the following before 5pm AEDT on Wednesday 18th October:

- What specific skills and experience would you draw on to support the GPSA Community?
- What role can you see yourself playing in the governance of GPTA Ltd as a membership organisation and national peak?

D) Book a 15-minute time-slot using this calendar scheduler

- - This is for a video call with GPTA Ltd CEO and Company Secretary, Carla Taylor, to talk about the points you provide at item (C) above.
  - GPSA will edit the recording of the meeting into a 30-second video to help voting members learn more about who they will be electing at this year’s AGM.

Please note:

While we will endeavour to provide sufficient reminders and prompts throughout this process, the onus lies with the member to fully complete the outlined steps and to ensure your contact details are up to date in our records.

Please follow the prompts to submit the completed electronic form by COB Friday 13th October.

If you choose either Option 2 or 3 for the method of Nomination Form submission, please enter “nil” in the fields under Option 1 and ensure additional time is allowed for receipt by the GPSA team.
