GP supervisors agree ‘in principle’ to match registrars’ pay with hospital trainees

An article published in Australian Doctor News on 9th December 2021 indicated that GP supervisors have made an in-principle agreement to provide registrars with comparable base pay to hospital doctors but have left open the question of who pays if salaries rise.

The pledge is a step towards breaking the multi-year deadlock over minimum contracts between the GP Supervisors Australia (GPSA) and GP Registrars Australia (GPRA).
